Pirates rally to edge Twins

Josh Bell, Jose Osuna and Christopher Bostick homered for Pittsburgh as the Pirates won an 11-8 slugfest over the Minnesota Twins in a spring training game Monday in Bradenton, Fla.

The Pirates trailed 6-2 in the fifth inning. Starting pitcher Nick Kingham gave up eight hits and six runs in 3 2/3 innings.

Osuna hit his fourth home run of the spring in the fifth inning to start Pittsburgh’s comeback, which was capped by a four-run eighth inning. Bostick homered in the seventh inning and added a two-run single in the eighth.

Gregory Polanco was 3-for-4 and drove in two runs for the Pirates.

Miguel Sano, who had three hits, and Brian Dozier homered for Minnesota.
