Medical Cannabis in Washington

The educational evening will celebrate the grand opening of Compassionate Certification Centers new medical cannabis office in Washington located at 955 West Chestnut Street, Suite #5.

In less than a year, Compassionate Certification Centers has built an expansive healthcare network with seven other locations throughout western Pennsylvania, including: Pittsburgh, Carlisle, Irwin, Butler, Natrona Heights, Clarion, and Erie.

The Pittsburgh-based company provides medical marijuana evaluations and continued treatment services for patients who meet one of the 21 state qualifying conditions. The company has a diverse staff of certified doctors with backgrounds in pain management, oncology, neurology, pediatrics, gastroenterology, immunology, primary care, rehabilitation, emergency medicine, and other specialties.

For those who already have their medical marijuana card, The Healing Center is Washington’s premier dispensary for patients and is located just down the road from Compassionate Certification Centers new office at 799 West Chestnut Street. The Healing Center offers an extensive product line from growers and processors throughout Pennsylvania.

Liberty Cannabis has dispensary locations in Norristown and Philadelphia, with another store coming soon to Bensalem. Liberty is a multi-state operation with locations in Maryland and Massachusetts. The brand is known for its relaxing environments, expert guides, personal consultations, and quality products.

How to see if you qualify for medical marijuana?

Those who are interested in medical cannabis alternatives, do not need to see their primary care physician, but can set up an appointment with a Compassionate Certification Centers doctor.

  1. Register at cccregister.com or call 888-316-9085.
  2. Set up an appointment for a medical cannabis evaluation.
  3. See if you qualify under Pennsylvania’s program.

New qualifying conditions were recently added to the program, including: cancer remission therapy, opioid-addiction therapy, nerve disease and nerve pain disorders, and chronic muscle spasms.

CBD as an Alternative

Cannabidiol (CBD) is also an option for individuals and families who do not qualify for medical cannabis and have not found relief with traditional medicines. CBD is a compound of cannabis that is non-psychoactive, which means it does not induce a high. It is also legal in 45 states as long as it contains less than 0.3% THC. CBDs are very potent for those suffering from chronic pain. It’s a powerful anti-inflammatory, offering pain-relieving effects.

Compassionate Certification Centers sells its own THC-free CBD line available at its offices and online. These therapeutic products can be purchased by medical cannabis patients and non- cardholders. Made from organically harvested hemp in Kentucky and formulated using broad spectrum hemp oil, Compassionate Certification Centers CBD line has already received strong reviews.

“Compassionate Certification Centers made this so simple. Never once, did I doubt their capability to help me every step of the way. I’m a long-time sufferer of chronic pain and to finally be able to find some relief is amazing,” a Pennsylvania patient stated.
