South Fayette’s Justin Caputo (left) and Peters Township’s Andrew Massucci are expected to influence the outcomes of many football games this fall as both are standout placekickers. An All-State performe, Caputo averaged 47 yards per kickoff and 34.1 yards per punt. He connected on all 23 of his extra points and is 81 of 85 for his career. He was 4-for-5 in his field goal attempts. Massucci, who was the 2021 WPIAL Quad-A soccer player of the year led in scoring with 33 points. He kicked three field goals and converted 18 extra points, including the game-winner against Gateway in the WPIAL Class 5A semifinals.
