Vehicles entered: Andrew J. Peters, 39, of Irwin, is charged by city police with theft and receiving stolen property over accusations he entered several vehicles parked at Valley Manor, 331 Third St., about 6 p.m. Saturday and stole nearly $20, court records show. Peters is free on $25,000 unsecured bond.
Stolen vehicle: Kenneth Robert Rhodes, 56, of 211 Oak St., and Melissa Lea Argyle, 48, of 705 10th St., Charleroi, were charged with receiving stolen property by state police Monday. According to the criminal complaint, Argyle was driving a stolen Jeep Compass when she was pulled over on Sheppard Avenue in North Charleroi Monday. Rhodes was also in the vehicle. They were both incarcerated in the Washington County Jail on $25,000 bonds. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. July 11 before District Judge Larry Hopkins.
Man captured: Marshall Tucker Lambert, 26, of 516 Center Ave., North Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with flight, resisting arrest, obstruction and disorderly conduct, court records show. Lambert is accused of fleeing when officers attempted to arrest him on a warrant about 6:15 p.m. Friday on Sixth Street. He later was apprehended and placed in Westmoreland County jail. District Judge Larry Hopkins set bail at $25,000. His brother, Michael Lambert, 26, of the same address, is charged in the case with hindering apprehension and will receive the charge in a summons.
