Assault alleged: Ryan James Titus, 36, of 135 E. Buffalo Church Road, Buffalo Township, was charged with simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment by state police Saturday. According to the criminal complaint, Titus assaulted his wife at his residence Saturday afternoon. He was released on $5,000 bond, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. July 15 before District Judge Ethan Ward.

EAST FINLEY

Terroristic threats charge: Chad Snyder, 31, of 279 Woodburn Road, East Finley Township, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct by state police Sunday. According to the criminal complaint, Snyder assaulted his ex-wife at his residence Sunday morning, and threatened to shoot her. Police said they found a loaded shotgun when they went to his residence. Snyder was placed in Washington County Jail on $50,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. July 15 before District Judge Ethan Ward.

PETERS

Assault alleged: Gina Knight, 50, of 112 Windermere Court, Peters Township, was charged with simple assault and harassment by township police Monday. According to the criminal complaint, Knight punched her husband and son at their residence Sunday night. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 16 before District Judge Jesse Pettit.

Corruption of minors charges: Jeremy David Kelly, 28, of 218 Barr Street, Canonsburg, was charged with interference with custody of children, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and furnishing liquor to a minor by township police Sunday. According to the criminal complaint, Kelly had a 17-year-old girl over to his residence June 28 and provided her with alcohol. He did not return the girl to her home when her mother requested that Kelly do so, police said. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 16 before District Judge Pettit.
