A 43-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl and soliciting nude pictures of her and other girls.
State police issued an arrest warrant Friday for Wesley Paul Buchheit of Upper River Road in East Millsboro. He allegedly sexually assaulted the girl three times in a remote, wooded area of Luzerne Township.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided a transcript of sexual conversations between the girl and Buchheit to state police Wednesday.
Police interviewed the girl, who said she and Buchheit spoke on Facebook and he picked her up in his truck, took her to a wooded area and sexually assaulted her. She said this occurred three times between July and September.
He bought her a cellphone and asked her to send him nude pictures of herself and other girls, one of whom was 14.
She reportedly told police she sent him nude pictures of herself, and said Buchheit knew she was a juvenile, according to court paperwork.
Buchheit is charged with three counts each of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault of a person less than 16, four counts each of unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and criminal use of a communication facility and two counts of images depicting sexual acts of children.
Charges were filed Friday before Fayette County Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr.
