Woman flown to hospital following Washington crash
One woman was flown by helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital with unknown injuries following a one-vehicle crash in the 600 block of Henderson Avenue in Washington at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Washington firefighters extricated the woman from her vehicle, which veered off the road, went up an embankment and struck a utility pole. Washington police said the woman, in her 60s, may have had a medical condition that resulted in the crash.
Police said the utility company was contacted to fix the pole.
