A Washington man pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court to conspiracy to distribute crack.

Antoine Dean, Jr., 29, pleaded guilty to one count before Senior U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab.

The FBI and the Drug Enforcement Administration initiated a wiretap investigation, primarily targeting the GBK street gang and drug trafficking in and around an area known as the Greenway Projects in the West End of the City of Pittsburgh, prosecutors said. The wiretap investigation revealed that from November 2017 through June 2018, Antoine Dean, Jr. and his co-conspirators distributed 28 grams or more of crack in the area of the Greenway Projects.

Judge Schwab scheduled sentencing for 9:30 a.m. July 8. Pending sentencing, the court revoked the defendant’s bond.
