Netflix has released a trailer for their upcoming series “Mindhunter,” which was shot partially in Washington County.
Scenes were shot at Washington & Jefferson College, South Main Street and other locations in Washington in late-May and June 2016.
In a May 6, 2016, story, Washington Mayor Scott Putnam told reporter Natalie Reid Miller that the story takes place in a Virginia town. Producers chose Washington because they liked the look of the Washington & Jefferson College campus and the city’s historic buildings.
The production crew also put out a call for locals to be extras in the series and seeking classic cars from the 1950s to 1980s while shooting in October 2016.
Check out the trailer for “Mindhunter” above and see if you can recognize any familiar locations or local faces. If you can’t, then maybe you’ll have more luck when “Mindhunter” debuts on Netflix on October 13.
