Rotary scholarships

The Rotary Club of Washington presented scholarships to graduating seniors at its annual student awards luncheon May 28 at Rossin Campus Center on the campus of Washington & Jefferson College. Each of the students will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Receiving Rotary Academic Achievement Scholarships were Alexandra Cilia, Avella High School; Erin Smith, Burgettstown High School; Kathryn Robinson, Fort Cherry High School, and Austin Amos, McGuffey High School. Nicole Bakaitis, a student at Washington High School, was presented with the Thomas P. Northrop Academic Achievement Scholarship. Anna Poach, from Trinity High School, received the Dr. Douglas A. Masciola Academic Achievement Scholarship. The Clyde J. Tracanna/Washington Rotary Academic Achievement Scholarship was presented to Rexanna Quendenfeld, Trinity High School; Amanda Keister, Washington High School, and Colin Waters, McGuffey High School. From left are Cilia, Keister, Robinson, Smith, Bakaitis, Waters, Amos, Quendenfeld and Poach.
