JFK wins Most Improved School award

John F. Kennedy Catholic School won an award for Most Improved School at the MathCounts Chapter Competition at Washington & Jefferson College. Ninety students from 11 schools competed. Participating from JFK were, front row, from left, Isabel Beichner, Samuel Nicolella, Lizzy Volz and Lizzie Raimondi; and back row, Matthias Hirst, who placed sixth overall, Adanna Maltony, Jordan Caldwell, Caroline McElheny, who placed 10th overall, and Spencer Putnam. Not shown is Nathaniel Herrmann. Hirst, Maltony, McElheny and Putnam placed second in the team portion of the competition.
