Youth baseball grant

The Canon-Mac Youth Baseball Association will improve its facilities and provide financial assistance so players in need can participate and travel with help from a $5,000 grant presented by Energy Transfer. The league offers supervised recreational and travel baseball programs for players ages 4 through 16. League President Shawn McClory expressed the organization’s thanks to Energy Transfer and discussed how financial assistance will support the league and its players. “This generous donation from Energy Transfer will greatly address two of our biggest needs – restoring our batting cage turf and making funds available for all young athletes to participate in our programs regardless of their family’s financial situation.”
