Washington County Clerk of Courts Brenda Davis is expected to face a contempt hearing soon after the state Commonwealth Court quashed her appeals requesting to stop the proceeding from occurring.
The criminal contempt hearing for Washington County Clerk of Courts Brenda Davis has been rescheduled for Feb. 28, although lawyers representing her are planning to appeal the case to the state Supreme Court.
The state Attorney General’s office will not file charges against anyone involved in the Nov. 24 altercation between Clerk of Courts Brenda Davis and several sheriff’s deputies inside the Washington County Courthouse.
