In Nature School, children ages 3 - 5 are introduced to the plants and animals that live in Frick Park, and experience the wonders of nature through hands-on outdoor exploration and play.

This is a drop-off program specially designed for children ages 3 - 5. Enrollment includes all five weeks (March 8, 15, 22, 29 & April 5).

Facilitated by early childhood naturalist educators, activities build upon the natural curiosity and joy inherent in all children as they explore the world around them. Students touch, interact and play with dirt, rocks, and natural items, becoming familiar with the bits and pieces of nature. Lessons that include songs, stories, and trail walks teach respect and excitement for nature, while regular experiences in the park foster life-long connections to nature and a healthy sense of place.

Children should be able to independently use the bathroom.
