Come out to Greene County Airport for a day of food, fun, airplanes, K-9 Service and Rescue, and history. The Spirit of Freedom, a 1945 Douglas C-54E, from the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation, will return to honor the 70th Anniversary of the Berlin Airlift.  The C-54 will be on display and all are invited to board the aircraft and view the living museum inside. Donations are accepted. Bring your camera.

At 4 pm, the Spirit of Freedom will take off and reenact the historical Hershey bar candy drop for kids to participate in!

Airplane rides will be available all day for everyone for a charitable contribution. Come early and sign up because we always sell out.  An open cockpit Stearman bi-plane will also be available to buy rides.

All events are weather permitting.

Community Aviation Day is sponsored by:

S.O.A.R. of Greene County, EAA Chapter 842, The Community Foundation of Greene County PA, and The Greene County Tourist Promotion Agency.

We hope to see you there!  Visit our website for much more information.
