Come out for a day of fun, food, airplane rides, and history at the Greene County Airport. The Spirit of Freedom, a 1945 Douglas C54E aircraft, from the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation will return to honor the 70th Anniversary of the Berlin Airlift.  The C54 will be on display and all are invited to board the aircraft and view the living history museum inside. Donations are accepted.

The event starts at 10 am with the National Anthem and a sky diving demonstration by Skydive PA.

Free Young Eagles rides for kids 8-17 all day. To be eligible for free rides, kids must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to sign a consent form in person. Due to Experimental Aircraft Association rules, parents are not permitted to accompany Young Eagles on their flights.

Aircraft rides will be available to everyone for a charitable contribution. An open cockpit Stearman bi-plane will also be available to buy rides.

All events are weather permitting.

The event is sponsored by:

SOAR of Greene County, EAA Chapter 842, The Community Foundation of Greene County PA, and The Greene County Tourist Promotion Agency

We hope to see you there!
